Subject: Dire need for prayer and financial support for our brother in Christ Pastor Moses Akanbi, missionary from Nigeria
Dear brothers and sisters:
I beseech you by the mercies of God on behalf of Moses Akanbi, Moses is not a U.S. Citizen yet. He is struggling to become a citizen to more effectively serve God both here and in Nigeria. Because of this condition, he is not able to be employed on a consistent basis and is struggling to get odd jobs to support himself and his family of a wife and eight children in Nigeria as well as a mission house that trains disciples in evangelism in Nigeria. He has a great zeal and fervor to do God's will both here and in Nigeria and to reach the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the glory of God the Father. He also has a radio show that adds to his financial burdens here as well as an apartment and living expenses. He does not have a driver's license and cannot drive so has to rely on others or public transportation. Moses battles tirelessly to do any work to support all that he is trying to do here and in Nigeria but because of his immigration status he cannot legally be employed. So this letter is to ask first and foremost for prayer that God himself would lift Moses up with his mighty right hand and pull him out of the deep and miry clay that ensnares his soul. Moses was called here by God, he heard God speak to him to come here to do his will and the enemy of our soul is trying to stand in his way to slow his progress and our desire is that anyone led and able to support him will. To shut the mouth of the lion that so eagerly wants to devour him and that God would be glorified in both Moses and whoever else is able to help him accomplish God's will here in the United States and in Nigeria through their consistent prayer and financial support.
